About the course
Bachelor of Communication (Hons) in Integrated Marketing Communication course trains students to explore a career in the marketing communication field. Students who graduate with this qualification will be able to design marketing communication campaigns that will spark interest and generate awareness about brands and products. Students will be armed with the knowledge of the various types of marketing communication tactics and strategies, from basic publicity to the use of viral marketing. In addition, this programme provides students with the opportunity to develop problem-solving and analytical skills to seek new and innovative solutions in integrating marketing communication functions.
Bachelor of Communications (Hons)in Integrated Marketing Communication develops students’ capability and capacity to think critically and strategically to connect and engage people with communication messages in creative ways. Our programme gives students the opportunity to explore the media industry in greater detail through its areas of specialisations, and equips students with the skills to make outstanding contributions in the competitive media and communications industries.Through this programme, students will also have the opportunity to develop and enhance presentation, critical thinking, planning and management skills, through a variety of projects, events and campaigns, both in and out of the classroom. This ensures that aside from a thorough understanding of the media landscape, students learn to push boundaries and take on challenges with utmost confidence.
