About the course

Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) course covers the basic principles of business theory and practice. Students may complete the Bachelor of Commerce with a single major, a double major or a major + minor. In order to successfully complete a Commerce degree in three years (Full-time), students need to complete 24 subjects (Excluding all Malaysian Compulsory subjects). The program offers three elective tracks, allowing you to specialise in Marketing, Financial Management or Human Resource Management. Each will develop your skills and understanding of conducting trade in a global economy and in developing cross-cultural business relationships.
International business gives you an awareness and understanding of business in other cultures and regions. If you are interested in working within different social, political and cultural contexts, the BCom in International Business will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to operate in a worldwide arena. You will gain an understanding of leadership, strategy, cultural diversity, communication and decision-making as they relate to contemporary international business issues. Major topics covered include financial management; employment relations; industry and trade in South East Asia; international marketing and management; and business in Europe.
