About the course

Bachelor of Commerce (Management) course covers the basic principles of business theory and practice. Students may complete the Bachelor of Commerce with a single major, a double major or a major + minor. In order to successfully complete a Commerce degree in three years (Full-time), students need to complete 24 subjects (Excluding all Malaysian Compulsory subjects). Today’s complex business environment and increased competition calls for effective management, finance and accounting knowledge in order to maximise financial performance. Management is the art and science of organising assets to reach a goal. Studying management you will learn how to interpret the procedures and systems used in an organisation to assess how individuals and the organisation as a whole can best operate. You will develop skills in decision-making, conflict resolution, administration and communication. If you are interested in mobilising human and material resources to achieve organisational goals, the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management will give you a fundamental understanding of how to apply key managerial concepts and theories in the contemporary work environment. The program will provide you with the opportunity to analyse, diagnose and execute judgements across a broad range of technical and management functions. The degree also focuses on business management and will supply you with the knowledge to meet business management demands both in the public and private sectors.
