The Bachelor of Technology (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) degree at Amity University Dubai enables students to demonstrate a sound understanding of fundamental principles as well as apply these as an individual or as a team leader in diverse teams and in managing projects within a multidisciplinary settings. Our high-tech specialised electronics and electrical lab encourages students to gain practical knowledge of fundamental concepts to support their career aspirations.
Bachelor of Technology (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) allows students to select courses of their choice from specialisation, domain elective and open elective courses over and above the core courses, based on individual interest without sacrificing the basic objectives of the course. This option makes the course more interesting and attractive to students.
Electronics and electrical, are engineering disciplines where non-linear and active electrical components such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems, typically also including passive electrical components and based on printed circuit boards. The term denotes a broad engineering field that covers important sub-fields such as analog electronics, digital electronics, consumer electronics, embedded systems, microprocessors, micro-controllers, VLSI Design and power electronics.
Electrical Engineering deals with implementation of applications, principles and algorithms developed within many related fields.
Electrical and electronics engineering deals with analog and digital transmission, reception of data, voice and video, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave propagation.
- Students will learn how to communicate effectively and demonstrate a sound understanding of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Management principles as well as apply these as an individual or as a team leader within diverse teams.
- Students will learn how to assess societal, health, safety, legal, cultural and environmental issues and relevant engineering responsibilities by applying contextual knowledge.
- Each student will be able to demonstrate professional conduct and effective communication and behavioural skills.
- Every graduate will be able to inculcate awareness about professional ethics and norms of engineering practices.
