About the course
Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree programme provides Limkokwing students with a broad range of skills relating to all aspects of the design of electronic systems and devices. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and specialisation to solve complex electrical and electronic engineering problems. It combines coursework in electrical and electronic engineering as well as individual and group project work where students design and build innovative electronic systems for various industry sectors. Identify, formulate, research literature and analyse complex electrical and electronic engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences. This programme provides a solid technological foundation to launch a career in electrical and electronic engineering, along with the basic skills needed to sustain professional development throughout a graduate career. Design solutions for complex electrical and electronic engineering problems and systems, components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental concerns. It incorporates the design and development of devices, circuits and systems that are used in a wide range of high-tech products, so it will attract students who are keen to understand how technology works, and who have an interest in electrical or electronic circuits. Conduct investigation into complex electrical and electronic engineering problems using research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions. Students who enjoy science, and physics in particular, will find this programme especially appealing.Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex electrical and electronic engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.Apply reasoning informed by contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues, and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional electrical and electronic engineering practice.
